Differdange is the 3rd town in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and from the 4th August 2007 till the 3rd August 2008 its centenary was celebrated. To that occasion an open-air arena was built up during 3 weeks in summer 2008. Recently it was decided to build up this arena annually and even bigger than before, with a capacity of 20.000 visitors in the centre of the town. After promoting concerts like ZZ TOP, Seal or José Carreras in 2008, Rod Stewart, Scooter and Cascada in 2009, the capacity will be expanded considerably in order to welcome the world’s leading bands in the next few years. The Arena is situated only a few kilometres from the borders of Belgium, Germany and France. The DIFFERDANGE ARENA will be by far the largest open-air concert place in the country and the whole frontier region.
